Cozumel Light Tackle Fishing

Let´s get one thing straight. We are all about Light Tackle Fishing in Cozumel flats. That´s what we do, and have been doing for years now. We love fishing in the flats, and we go for Bonefish, Snook, Permit, and the ocassional baby tarpon.

That already explained. There are times where a little bit of fishing is better than a whole bunch, at least as far as tackle and lures go. And this is exactly how we roll, and our Guides roll.

Light tackle fishing in Cozumel lagoons and the oceanside flats is mainly target for Bonefish, Snook, Permit, Tarpon, some Jacks and Barracudas. We see fishing as an art, and we consider ourselves artists of the Cozumel flats.

Several experienced fly fishermen prefer fly over spin rods. We use them both. We believe the real challenge with light tackle fishing is playing and enticing the fish, and the satisfaction we get as a result of landing them.
